Hi Marie
When I want to insert a foreign character in Microsoft Word, I press insert and
4 and it brings up a list of all the foreign characters available. I can down
arrow to the character I want or, for example, press e which will bring me to E
acute. I then press enter and e acute is inserted.

I work with a boy who uses Microsoft Word and Jaws to do his homework. He has
a Sony Vaio 1.2 ghz VGN-TX3XP. After he presses the alt gr key Jaws starts to
act funny in MS Word. For example, in word after he presses the alt gr key and
i to insert a foreign character, Jaws says overtype mode active. Can anyone
help as it is very frustrating for him.
