Hi Marie,

follow Joan Anns solution and it should work correctly for you. Stay away
from the "altGR key". This key is used nowadays for creating extra keyboard
shortcuts.

Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] ALT GR key

Hi

I work with a boy who uses Microsoft Word and Jaws to do his homework. He
has a Sony Vaio 1.2 ghz VGN-TX3XP. After he presses the alt gr key Jaws
starts to act funny in MS Word. For example, in word after he presses the
alt gr key and i to insert a foreign character, Jaws says overtype mode
active. Can anyone help as it is very frustrating for him.

Regards
Marie Travers
