[vip_students] Avast - how do I deal with Trojan warning

I have received an Avast Trojan warning - can someone please help me.
I am being offered various options on the screen such as delete or repair
etc. but I am unaware of WHAT OPTION TO exercise - as I am equally unAWARE
OF THE POSSIBLE DETRIMENTAL consequences of choosing THE "wrong" option.
Does Avast not automatically delete any such virus - as and when they occur.
In anticipation - Ilook forward to hearing from someone.

well - I may have little to offer on a technical level but I look forward
