My problem is not when typing, but the next time I try to use the keyboard. I
have to go to settings and reconnect the keyboard

I dom't know if your meaning that your bluetooth keyboard just disconnects
while using it. I also have this issue and keyboard is fully charged and
batteries are also ok.
I find just asking siri to switch off bluetooth and then tell him to switch
it on. I use siri because of being lazy lol
but i find this reconnects it again.
its a pain as generally it goes mid sentence.
