Eleanor.
You are better using windows media player or iTunes.
Open iTunes and go to file, scroll down to add file to library, this will open 
your music files and you pick out the song you want, go down to the bottom and 
click open, this adds it to iTunes.
Or if you have the songs on iTune,you can create a new playlist and burns this.
If you want to know how to create playlist I do it for you later.
