Hi Flor
When you choose the option "always send a read receipt", the next option when you tab is a checkbox that says "Unless it is sent to a mailing list and my name is not on the To
or Cc lines of the message".

Joan Ann,

have you found a way to stop Outlook Express from sending receipt requests
to mailing lists?

Hi Tony
It is possible to set outlook express up to request a read receipt for sent
messages. You can choose your preferred options by going into tools,
options and receipts.

 Hi All,

I have just sent a mail to someone requesting a reply that he whenever has
read my mail!

I am using OE and wonder in the tools menu or other how I have to specify if it is a once-off receipt, in other words, I request one say each time or
can I have OE configured that it will always request a receipt except
hopefully where lists such as this are concerned?

 Tony
