But one will still encounter the requests if one has the second of the three
options chosen, regardless of whether they were sent to mailing lists,

I have just sent a mail to someone requesting a reply that he whenever has
read my mail!
I am using OE and wonder in the tools menu or other how I have to specify
if it is a once-off receipt, in other words, I request one say each time or
can I have OE configured that it will always request a receipt except
hopefully where lists such as this are concerned?
