Excellent thanks Paul. Now I wonder how much more expensive. The cheaper one is
215 pounds. Anyway I can find out on Monday.

Hi Eleanor I have a talking microwave oven. I find it excelen. If you want to
get it here the best way is through the n.c.b.i shop. The microwave ovens are
supplied through cobolt systems in england.

  Eleanor,

Why bother with talking microwaves when one can Braille out the numbers on
dymotape, stick them and other commands like 'time', 'start' and 'stop' at
their appropriate points.

For myself now, I've got numbers , 2 and 3 at the top row, followed by 4, 5
6; third row 7, 8, 9 with zero below the 8.

Perhaps it depends on the type of microwave in terms of features. We had one
back in the 1980's which had a browing facility, whereas more recent ones just
do the heating and weren't they a brilliant invention for blind folk, though
not with them in mind.

But if it's talking micrwoaves you want, I reckon Cobolt Systems are the
go-to folk for those.

    Hi
Does anyone have one of these? Did you have to get it from UK or is there
a supplier in Ireland? What do those of you who have one think of it?
