Thanks Flor. I actually ended up with two things dowlloaded and persistently
taking over my screen:
1. A box asking to okay an online backup down load of my windows.
2. A video streak program.
An IT helpdesk cleaned it all out since, so problem solved. But it
frightened me off the VICS site. I think I used the link passed around
vip-studehts list a few months back.

If you were trying to do it on the Web site, that has not been updated in
about three years. Perhaps there are some committee members who can advise
further here.

I tried to joing VICS online a few weeks ago but unwanted material tried to
download onto my PC when I tried. I do not know if other VIPs have had a
similar experience. I will attempt it again.
