Hi Jane,

You could try pausing Jaws at the start of the phone number and read character by character. When you're writing a number leaving a space between the numbers is a good idea so you get 1 2 3 4 5 as opposed to 12345.

hi there everyone on this list.
i wonder if anyone could help with a small problem.
when i get something with a number such as a telephone number jaws reads it
as: 1 million 8hundred and 50 thousand etc.,  instead of 1850  etc., i am
sure those of you with great knowledge will come up with a solution for me.
