Joe,

Just to add to Barry's helpful suggestions you could have free to air (FTA) installed for basically just the cost of the installation and dish and that's the extent of your payment basically and for little or nothing when you think of the results.

We have FTA for a number of years now and it's great indeed and so cost-effective.

You should have no problem listening then to Five Live or better again Talk Sport for your footy.

The signal may disappear very occasionally but that would be weather-related usually.

Of course that won't be of any use to you when'out and about' for example but I'm sure there are ways and means as with VPN and that.

Happy listening!

Thanks barry, really appreciate your input on the topic, I have taken note of your suggestions and will at least follow some of them up, audio description doesn’t bother me too much, but I really like it when it’s available, pity about the I player, I am anxious to be able to access radio five live for the sports at and can at present only listen to it on my radio, which is not always easy listening with hiss and fade from the A.M station source, but once again thanks for your help, god bless, travel safely, joe.
