hi paul
no joy on that last instruction.
in actual fact pressing alt and m to maximise is not working and i have to try visually to click on the maximise 'square' on the top right of the page to maximise, really nasty to try do.

then even when i get it maximised and go to
view and set it at 100% the change does not stay as such if i close and then reopen a web page.

Hi Paul,

With the web page in question opened up, first use keys, "Alt + spacebar
then choose "Maximised" from the menu. Next, go into the "View menu" of IE
and down to "zoom", ensure that in here it is set to "100%".

Paul.

hi
many thanks, that is working now, opening the favourites from the start menu
as before.

another part of the problem is that when i open such a webpage from
favourites it is a very tiny window whereas previously it opened maximised, i know i can always maximise it but how do i get it back where it was always
maximised?

thanks for the assistance

Hi Paul,

First check in your "Add/Remove Programs" list that Google Chrome isn't
installed in there. If it is then remove it.
Next, go into "Internet Options in control panel and make sure that
Internet
Explorer is set to check that it is the default browser and just click on
"Set as default" to be sure.
Now try using those favorites and see if they work.

Paul.
