another way to find a lost contact if its not in your recent calls list. is to
type in the first few letters of there name into the contact part of a new text
message then scroll down through the contacts that appear and you should find
it presuming you have texted this number before. and yes a full restore does
reset all setting on the phone. and this takes ages if you need anything else
just ask.
