there is a lot here so for example if I wanted to send you an email, One
option for me is to go in to my contacts, then I would go to Susan, then I
would go to your email address. I would then double tap on your email address
and this would open the email application putting your address in the To
field. I would then swipe left to right, until I came to the subject field,
and once in the subject field I would double tap in order to edit or type.
then I'd put in my subject line which might be sending emails. then to go
into the body of the email in my own particular case I would do this by
moving my finger slightly down the screen firmly touching the screen and
waiting to hear voice over say message buddy. to make sure I'm absolutely in
the body of the message I would then double tap with one finger to hear voice
over say start of line. then I would start writing my email. to send my
email, I would then explore the top right corner of the screen and when my
finger find the send button, I would then double tap on it. I have a sound
associated with the sending of email so that I know the email is being sent
off!
with regard to having a sim in the phone and using What's App, I am not sure
why you cannot send but I would suggest to you that you check that mobile
data is turned on and also ensure that whatever your service provider package
is that it includes Internet usage. to check if your mobile data is turned
on, then you will need to go in to settings, then swiping from left to right
just progress down through the list of items and when you come to mobile data
make sure you listen to hear whether it is turned on or off.
with regard to Facebook, I am presuming you have the application on the
iPhone. there are five tabs across the bottom of the screen. The tab to the
extreme right, is spoken by voice over which says, More double tap on it.know
the screen changes and you have a list so again swiping left to left Now the
screen changes and you have a list so again swiping left to right, progress
down through the list until you hear the word friends. then double tap on
friends. there is then a list of your friends.
hope this helps a little.
Eleanor Susan so let me answer one or two questions for you.
my email address is for my contacts are in my contacts app.

Hi Eleanor,
Ican go on to facebook, I can set a reminder and take a note. However I say I
can go on facebook I can only like posts and reply to them, but I can’t seem
to find the friends that I’m already friends with. Also I would like to do
emails, when I was in England at my daughters my son in law set it up that I
could receive emails using an I cloud account, the phone I am using is joe’s
old iphone there was no simm in it but I could still send whatsapp messages
as I used our own yfi or my daughters. I now have a sim in the phone and my
son in law set it up that I can receive emailsfrom this account now, I did
manage to send a emil back to somebody that mailed me at the icloud account
when I was away but don’t seem to do that again, how do I find a list of all
the contacts I have in my address book in my email client?
I would love to learn how to use twitter which is already set up again by my
son in law but i don’t know how to tweet or send a direct message. But that
is something for the future one thing at a time.
Many thanks hope all this makes sense.

not Martin Susan, but personally I could learn a lot in 15 minutes. A good
starting point might be to tell us what you have already achieved and what
you would like to gain more experience with when using the iPhone.

The guys from the r,n,I,b, are also volunteers, the one and only lesson I
had the chap was very good and I learnt quite a bit in an hour. I gave you
the wrong info yesterday as regards being able to ring the r,n,I,b, on a
Fridays it is only 2 Friday's in the month not every Friday and if you do
happen to get through to them it is only for 15 minutes. I mean to say what
