Hi Edel,
If you go into the tools menu of Internet explorer and then go to
"add-ins"
you should be able to find that particular add-in and disable it there.
See
if that fixes the problem for you.

Firstly Paul congratulations on your good news. I hope you are not

New problem: I am on the Tipperary Institute website and when I click on a
link (any link) within the body of its text, I am getting the following
message:
Internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add on and needs to
close.
Within the dialog box it says:
the following add on was running when this problem occurred
Add on name AcroPDF.dll
and then the company name and bla bla bla
Very frustrating as I am trying to get information I need for tomorrow.
Any
suggestions or directions would as usual be most welcome.
I am thinking that I need to switch off some sort of firewall or something
like that but I can hear you say "don't be thinking", it usually ends in
disaster. smiles
