Yes, there seems to be a discreet list used to populate the default format choices. I've only ever seen multiples of 48K for rates above 48K.
Maybe someone else can confirm. - Tom On 10/19/2011 2:05 AM, Robert Bielik wrote:

And it "seems" as though the control panel of Vista can handle it.Not quite. I forgot to mention that in one case I expose 44100,48000,88200,96000 as samplerates but 88200 Hz gets "dropped" in sound control panel. Why? Is the audio subsystem in Vista/Win7 hardcoded to accept only a few selected samplerates ?TIA /Rob ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribeUnsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribeModerator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/
