Hi Mitch,

thangs for the answer. I checked MCStream with my hw under
98SE and XP but got very strange results.

My hw can operate at 24 bit 4 channel and 16 bit 6 channel mode.

First I select 16 bit 6 channel mode and used MCStream to pass
the streams to my hw. This is working as expected eg sine tones
on all channels.
But when I look at my I2S data lines with a scope I can clearly see
that usb is passing 24 changing audio bits ! very strange

Next I selected my 24 bit 4 channel mode. Using MCStream with
4 channels at 16 bit shows the correct result as above.
After that I used 24 bit resolution in MCStream and got noise only.
My I2S lines show 24 bit but with a phase difference between
LR Clk and I2Sdata. So no wonder that I am hearing noise.

BTW: I got the noise also with my TerraTec DMX6Fire. It seems that
there still exists the old 24 bit bug !?

Cheers Thomas
