This will be an discussion group regarding the program and other things that happen on our community movie theathre. The postings will be about our program and other important issues that will come up as we manage the cinema.

Guys with Ties, Non profit. This organization serves in NYC as a way to raise money for the less fortunate children in harlem that can't afford computers. We are building "ties" to the community through technology. This listserv will be used for the 300 or so members to coordinate meetings.
At first, we will assemble a list of our database users contact information so we can distribute software announcements and surveys for satisfaction assessment or gathering information on what kind of platform our users are using, ie Windows XP or Windows 98. We are planning on sending out a survey next week to make sure our new enhancements to the database they are using will be supported by their local systems. For example, do they have enough memory, do they meet the minimum suggested screen pixels, type of intel, etc. We are not sure how this list will be used beyond this but this is the initial plan.
