Yeah, I was thinking of that. I have a cheap set of hedphones with an
inline mic. When I use them with my studio mic, I can have the volume as
high as 50% or so without bleedthrough. But when switching to the inline
mic, I need to turn the volume down to 5% or it gets the computer voice imn
the recording.
Its not so much about noise cancelling, the cheap earphones have lots of
leakage. I think its because when the speakers and mic are physically
attached, and share the same cable. , the bleedthrough is worse.

Doesn’t matter what kind of noise cancellation your headphones have one has
nothing do ecording. Nice cancellation feature helps you only to keep away the
outside noise when you’re listening music into those headphones, but nothing to
do with the recording or the quality off the microphone of your headphones.
