I have this one on order to review.
However, if I like it, I intend to return it and purchase the 8 channel model,
because it is only $20 more.
As a musician, using keyboards, drum machines and other audio equipment, I need
more than 4 channels.

Below is an older USB mixer that has been arround for awhile.
The Alesis multi-mix. Comes in a 4 or 8 channel version.
No drivers required, plug and play.
Price $129.
If you look around the internet, you can find this version as low as $100.
It also comes in a 4 channel version, price, $80.
USB audio to and from your computer.
I do own the 8 channel version and it is an excellent machine.
The effects are out standing, not as good as the Yamaha but you really have to
listen to them side by side to hear the difference.
Yamaha mg10xu usb mixer.
This is the usb mixer I used every day.
The Yamaha MG series mixers are a high performing audio device.
But everyone doesn't need such a mixer.
It has a price of $250.
If you look around the internet, sometimes you can find it as low as $199.
If you are a serious musician this model is worth every penny.
It comes in 1 10, 12, 16, and 20 channel versions.
24 built in effects. The reverb on this mixer is absolutely outstanding.
24 bit audio.
However, it does require that the Yamaha USB driver to be installed.
