My first thought on reading this was that perhaps Julie Carpenter should have 
waited until *AFTER* the proposed meeting before posting here about the issue, 
rather than dropping a bomb on the list and then just disappearing. That 
doesn't seem to be a very considerate way of handling things.

  We're all trying to figure out some way to make life easier for everyone 
without violating any copyright laws. We were going to have a meeting about it 
today, but it got postponed till tomorrow. I sure can't think of any pleasant 
way around this impasse, but maybe someone else at work can suggest something. 
That's why you haven't heard anything from us.

  Either way makes more work for Carrie because she has to approve the 
rejection for the "hold for missing pages" submission, too.

  But I've yet to see anymore from Bookshare staff on this topic so I don't 
know what's really going on with it anyway.
