Angel;
You can get JAWS to say page numbers and page breaks which is going to be
helpful when proofing. Here is what you do:
1. Open up a file in word, any file will do (just a empty page)
2. Go to the JAWS verbosity settings (also called JAWS quick settings) by doing
a INSERT V
3. Scroll down until you get to page, section, and multiple column breaks and
check this item (this is under reading options) Subsequently, you can just hit
the letter P and it should place you right on the box for you to check.
4. Tab over twice (I think) and then hit OK.
Checking this item should make JAWS say page numbers when you get to the next
page. Should this not work, just send me a email and I'll explore other options
for you. Also under the JAWS quick settings, you may want to also check the box
for new lines and paragraph indications (this may prove to be helpful to you
when proofing, the preference is totally up to you, if you can with stand JAWS
saying are of those new lines/paragraph marks. Honestly, I find confusing and
only activate it when necessary but like I said...totally up to you.
