Deborah is correct.  We have been told to back number using Arabic numbers (1, 
2, 3, 4 etc) when we have a case like yours where the actual text begins on a 
page other than 1.
You can fill in using Roman numerals if you run out of Arabic numbers once you 
go back to 1. Valerie

OK Sue, so, I'll do the preliminary pages with roman numerals but what the 
blank 
pages. Am I suppose to add them or not? AS I said previously, chapter 1 begins 
on page 9.
