Hi Netta;

If Chapter 1 starts at page 9, you will need to work backwards, until you get to page 1. Some books do start the title page as page 1. Also, there may be some blank pages before each section like the acknowledgement, table of contents, dedication page, etc.

If you have more pages after getting to page 1, then you should use the roman numerals.
