This is the reason people with k1000 value it as something besides scanning
software. Kurzweil is an expensive piece of software. It does come with
great editing tools for working on scans. One of them removes these end of
line hyphens.
Isn't the end of hypen issue tied to a glitch in one of the scanning
programs such as Finereader? Wasn't there a patch? Somebody who has been
on this list for a bit may remember the issue coming up last spring around
csun conference time.
