Hi Stephanie!

Your name is always in the files you download from Bookshare whether you are proofreading orr grabbing a book for your reading pleasure. You can just take your name out of the file name when you save it as an rtf to have a working file to do yur proofreading. That way, you can be sure that you are working on a copy of the file and not the original.

Also, if you have used a replace all and then decide immediately that you didn't want such a big change, don't save the file but just reload it right away and say no to when it asks you if you want to save your changes. I occasionally get to aggressive with replace all.

Dumb question, that is rich text format right? Also when I try to resave it I get this in the title of Piscco_Getting to know the Stephanie_Lively(1)

Hi all,

Yes, Stephanie, you can proof using Word. Just be sure to save the file as an RTF file, and don't save it as a Word file, even between sessions of proofing.
