Did you change the fonts to one as Lissi suggested?  Select all with 
contrl+a; use alt+o for format; enter on font, arrow down to something 
contrl+like
"times new roman", tab to the size box and choose 11 or 12 and control+tab 
back to okay and enter.  Having one font throughout may help you with this 
pagination problem.  Ask your husband to check paragraph settings also.
