[bksvol-discuss] Qustion about proofing a book?

Hi, I'm trying to proof the book Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy. My problem
is some of the pages are missing and some other pages are badly scanned. I
love the book, so I got a copy of it. Can I just scan and fix the problems
myself? Do I have to reject the book? I have worked on the book for three
weeks and it will take me another three to finish it. It has 325 pages in the
book. But the scan has 331 (I have fix some pages and this is the number I
have got it down too.) not counting Title page,copyright and etc. There are so
few books I find funny that I'm will to keep working on it till it is finished.
I'm just not sure how or whom to explain the problems to.
