Oh, of course Evan, you're right. I put my page numbers in right in Omnipage
so as I'm looking at the image of the page on one side of the screen, I'm
typing the page number in on the OCR text on the other half of the screen.
You would have no way to know which page was what. It definitely takes sight
to make my method work, but hopefully in the future we will be having even
more sighted scanners to help out.
Plus I only scan 10 or 20 pages at a time, or if the chapter has that huge
first letter at the beginning of the paragraph then I scan one chapter at a
time because that big first letter tends to mess up the text and I like to
delete it from the image to OCR and then type it in manually, too.
