Hi, Melissa, I know some Braille books are about 11-1/2 wide. What is the
usual width for printed books? I'm sure they vary. All I do is ask the page
setup to be in legal, but I have no clue how long and wide legal pages are.
Regards, Kim. P.S.: Your message is interesting. K.

When you say Word's page breaks, I believe you are talking about soft page
breaks. If so, this is correct. That said, I usually set all my margins to 1
inch and set the paper size to custom, which I set at 8.5 by 22. This
eliminates almost all soft page breaks. When I do this, Word says that some
margins are set outside the printable area, but I tell it to ignore that.
All this is done in the page setup dialog in the file menu in Word versions
prior to 2007. I'd have to take a look at my Dad's computer to see where to
find it in 2007 and beyond, but I'd hazard to guess that it would be in the
page layout ribbon.
