[bksvol-discuss] Re: points of navigation followed by three asterisks

So is the consensus that no longer will we put a blank line after the
chapter title? That is fine with me. It would then be page break, page
number (if at the top), chapter one or title and text? At the bottom it is
last line of text, page number (if at the bottom), and page break? Then
chapter titles are put in 16-point, which is the way I do it anyway.

A single asterisk may strike you as a stray character, but it preserves the
blank line, which is what it is intended for. Three asterisks in a book has
a specific purpose, to indicate change of scene or passage of time. Besides,

a single asterisk wouldn't strike you as a stray character for very long if
you encountered it consistently between a chapter title and the text.
