Thanks for rejecting those, E. I love romances myself, and a lot of the ones she's scanned that I've read, I've put on a list for me to rescan. It irritates me to find a book and really get into it, only to not be able to finish it because the quality is so bad. I realize romances may not be a very high priority for some, but if it's for pleasure reading, if you can't even get a complete thought out of the book because so much text is missing or garbled, there's no pleasure in that. I'm working on a BSO of one of her books right now. She loves romances. Will somebody please repost the link to list books on step 1 of less than excellent qualty? Can we prevail on engineering to make this "less than excellent" scan link appear in the Books in Progress section or somewhere else on the volunteer page. I think the more conscientious we are about keeping order in the step 1 list the faster it will be to get through books on that list. Books which linger and linger on step 1 often have some kind of issue. Let's either fix them up or reject them as less than fixable by a validator. For those who say a book scan is precious, I agree. I know submitters are willing and able, with today's software, to submit great scans. E.
