Last week a friend came to constellate. She was beside herself about her
anorexic daughter, who had had to return home from college because of the
state of her health. We wanted to resource the mother (my friend) to give
her the strength to support her daughter. We didn't look at the anorexic
daughter, only the mother who seemed to be striving for perfection. She
had been born after a barely acknowledged miscarriage and there seemed to
be something around not being accepted by her own mother as perfect as she
is.
I learned that her daughter returned to college yesterday.
