Hi Deborah,
I think I picked this up verbally from Bert. I don't recall seeing anything
in writing about it. He mostly talked about 'weight in terms of mothers and
those who don't have children. I don't recall reading anything about the
weight of the facilitator. It's a strange idea to me to think about the
idea of asserting more or less weight because I think it is something you
have in you. The weight is, as you say, gained through life experience,
being a parent, being a facilitator, suffering, age etc. and can't be
created or moulded in the way you were taught, at least as far as I can
see. I can often feel it when I hug someone.
