Dear Jeffery
Thank you so much for your response; it is helpful, especially your reference
to a more 'porous' sense of self. That feel like the essence of what to keep
aware of in relation to the first question.
All best.

Dear Margie,
I'm not certain that this answers your entire question, but perhaps this is a
piece of the discussion.
Last Tuesday night at my intro to constellations evening I had colleague, a
woman who is well-versed in shamanic work, to show up to explore the work. She
has done a lot of energetic embodiment work from other traditions. In the intro
evenings I only offer generic constellations along the lines of "who would like
to represent a tree in a nature landscape?" I do not offer personal work.
She went very deeply into her representations, even when I thought that the
representation would be very 'light'. I could see that it took her a very long
time to come back to herself, despite all of the tools I know for de-roling a
representative. It was more than slightly alarming to me.
This has caused me to think about how I could approach this situation when it
comes up again. I most definitely want to include a lot more "this is me / the
person whom I am representing is not-me" language into my introductory
discussion before we begin.
I've had some brushes with this with other representatives whose sense of self
is more 'porous', as well.
I hope you might find this info somewhat helpful.

Dear fellow facilitators et al.
First, thank you! I am new to the group and very glad to be part of it.
I have a group of keen people learning over the next nine months to facilitate
the family constellations work. I have been asked two questions that I cannot
answer: 1. For whom might this work be a dangerous trigger?
2. What kind of person
might be dangerous to have as a representative?
The woman who asked was particularly wondering about someone with
schizophrenia, but her question is also wider that this.
Many thanks,
Margie
