celebrated his 80th birthday.

I just read your post. I was taken by your profound story about your faith. And
your Fathers response. "Listen to every man........"
This is at the heart of our work. It is such a wonderful intro to this work. It
is disarming and allows people a clear way in which to approach a deeper
engagement with each other.
I would love use your Fathers voice and yours and have the be a part of the
wider field of our work as an explanation and guide to our work.

I too have just been quietly listening but will now share a few thoughts.
When I was young my father was a preacher of a little country church that held
Sunday morning services.
Sunday evenings we visited different churches of all different faiths. One day
I asked my Dad what faith we were because we attend so many different churches.
The answer my father shared with me that day I have carried with me all through
my life and I find it serves me well today.
"Listen to every man. Take in all they say, then internally, you sort it out.
You take what resonates with your soul and the rest, you leave without
judgment." He furthered explained the illusion of right or wrong, but different
paths. A piece that I may be leave behind will serve another very well. What
serves me well may not resonate with another. But rest assured, in each person,
you can find something to take away for yourself. Focus on that, and let the
rest go!
He also warned me: Be careful if you take in everything any one person
believes, no one man has all the answers....
Just as no one man holds the key to any knowledge. It is all in the field and
it's a matter of what we experience and find in the moment. Sheila pointed
out... Nothing is really new... Bert set up many people without them knowing
who they are. Looked a lot like Sneh's coyote constellations. What Bert now
calls 3 dimensional work/Spirit Mind looks a lot like work Gabrielle Borkin
started doing/teaching back in 2001. I remember in DC a couple years ago Bert
set up an aspect and said it was the first time he had done this. It surprised
me... we had been working with aspects for years and I didn't even realize he
wasn't doing it yet. This doesn't take away from what he is doing, just shows
that the information is in the field and no one person owns it. How can anyone
own it? Bert pioneered this work and holds that place of honor. Then we find
things that are new to us. And at the same time, someone half way around the
world may be sensing the same thing. So sometimes we discover things that are
new to us. Sometimes we see others and learn from their ways. And through this
our own unique thumbprint becomes our own. Just like the experiences of many
churches, I don't believe any one way is better or worse than another. One
thing I LOVE about this work is that there are many different ways. I embrace
the diversity in each one of us.
I was once told I HAD to make a decision as to what "side" I would stand. I
choose not to choose. I have the deepest respect and gratitude for ALL those
from whom I have learned (and continue to learn). I choose to learn from all,
take what resonates with my soul and leave the rest, without judgment.
Which side do you choose to stand? For my purpose, it is not necessary to
say..... To quote Rhett Butler: "Frankly Scarlett, I just don't give a damn!"
