Dear Helena,

I came across an article a couple of years ago in the Guardian Observer Review for 20/1/2002. The writer discusses the psychological and legal aspects of a donor-insemination child knowing about his or her father.
The situation is not so different from that in which the mother has gone behind her husband's back and become pregnant to another man.
