Hi all
some people seem to have a misunderstanding of the ISCA webpage article. It
is entitled "Foundations of Systemic Constellation Work" The very last
sentence of this article states:
Further developments such as movements of the soul and organisational
constellations will be covered in a later article which will be called
“Evolution of Systemic Constellation Work”
In this context it is simply logical that the article looks at the origins
of the technique that was crystallysed by Bert Hellinger. Bert wasn't born
in a vacuum. He readily acknowledges his influences himself. That is his
intellectual lineage. I would expect most people who understand and value
systemic constellation work would appreciate and value acknowledgement of
those who stand behind Bert. That gives us all strength and healthy
humility. When we try to pretend we are disconnected individuals we become
victims of our own hubris and we crash on the rocks of alienation. That is
ironic as one of the greatest gifts of systemic constellation work is that
it frees us from the poisonous myth of the isolated independent individual.
It is also logical that that article would finish with Bert Hellinger as
at that point there is nothing more to say about the foundations. From then
on what happens can be defined as further development and evolution.

I agree with you Michael.
We are all part of various lineages the most obvious one being our
ancestral line. Bert used to say that many people took refuge in abstruse
spirituality to avoid taking in their parents - an attempt to bypass them
by going directly to God. So I am sure he would be happy when his
intellectual intellectual lineage is acknowleged.
I am just surprised Michael that your summary leaves out the
phenomenological lineage as this is the one that Bert speaks most fully
about himself. He particularly acknowledges Martin Heidegger as a big
influence.
