[ddots-l] Re: Acid format not working with Sonar

Hi Brian,

The only loops and grooves I have noticed come from installation disc
four which I think is the one you are referring to.

My sonar producer 8.5 came with installation disc 1, sonar, installation
2, beatscape, installation 3, Dimension, and installation disc 4, which
is the stuff that gets installed under sample content .

Under sample content, the only loops and grooves I have seen are rex2
and MIDI, but have not come across any wav acid loops.

Beatscape also comes with many loops and grooves but they are all in the
rex2 format.

I have included as an attachment one of the Prime loops acid loops if
you care to try and see if it works on your Sonar setup.

When I preview or import rex2 loops, they automatically conform to the
projects tempo, but, as I previously stated, when I do the same with the
acid loops, they neither conform to the projects tempo or key signature.

The wav acid loop sounds not only off key, but the tempo is also off, as
if it would be a non acid wave file.

I don’t know what to make of this apparent anomaly.

Iván
