That's too bad. Even though companies like Dancing Dots and other independent concerns are working very hard and doing a really good job of making things accessible, we still have a big problem. Unless something's done so that we can get use of this technology, we'll never be able to be truly competitive on an equal basis with our sighted counterparts in the business. I think I do a pretty reasonable job with my instruments and software. I also feel that good musicianship goes a long way in being able to use the tools that you have to get the job done.


Having said that, it doesn't provide an excuse for not being able to have the means to keep up with what's out there. I've been told outright that I produce garbage because of my so called lack of good instrumentation; this has come from people in radio, TV, and some other folks who supposedly are in the know. I do take it personal as I've worked very hard to get as far as I have.

most of the high-end vsts are not accessible. their interfaces are
bit-mapped and jaws can't even scratch them.
