I believe that is the way. What I do is this. You can rename your subs and sends like this and rout them accordingly. All subs to master, I start with the second sub for lead vocals, then another to backup, guitars, keys, drums, then my reverbs or other things like delay or something's I then go to my tracks and assign my sends. Like Gord did in his great tutorial do not set there and assign all those sends. Say do a vocal track and clone it how ever many times you need. Do your other multiple tracks the same like drums and different guitar parts that might sound the same.I have tried to relay the concept this by no means is the only way or even the best way just my way.
When you find your way remember to save it as a timplet.----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Jackson" <cs2007@xxxxxxxxx>

Now, about the sends, I assume that I will insert them in the track pane; do I insert sends on each track based on the effects that I'm going to be using? Do I then rout those sends to the corresponding effects bus in the bus pane? For example, create a send called subgroup1's verb and rout that send to the subgroup1's verb bus? Hope I'm making since. To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 6:23 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Bus troubles Hello all, I’ve created a project using producer 6.2 with 4 tracks of audio and 5 tracks of midi. I went in to the bus pane and setup the following, A. I have the master bus which is routed to the out of my Delta 10/10, B. Subgroup1’s, out as well as Subgroup2’sout are routed to vocal master C. Subgroup1’s delay and verb outs, are routed to effects send1 D. Subgroup2’s delay and verb out are routed to effect send1 E. Vocal master and effects send1 out’s are routed to master. In the track pane, I have tracks 1 and 2’s outs routed to subgroup1. I have track 3’s out routed to subgroup2. Whenever I patch an effect (verb or delay) in the bus pane in to the effects bin of the corresponding bus, (verb in the verb of subgroup1’s verb bus), I can’t hear the verb applied. I solo the verb bus but everything plays as if nothing’s soloed. I hope I’m making some since attempting to explain the problem. Any ideas on the matter would be appreciated.
