i use busses basically for these three functions:
1. for a master bus routing the output of the tracks that won't go into a
subgroup, routing the output of subgroups, and routing the output of effect
busses.so i have a master control where everything comes through.
2.for subgroups and use name titles as backing vocals, lead vocal when i
use many tracks to composite a single vocal performance.
or percussion, brass, violins, etc.
3. for effects loops. for using effects that can be shared by many tracks.
just insert the effect into the effects bin of the bus.

once you have all this setup you just insert a send on each track or bus you
want to add effect to.
this is good for reverbs, delays, chorus, etc. when using compression it is
better to insert it to the effects bin of a single track or subgroup bus.

note:
be sure to set the dry/wet all the way to the wet on the effects inserted to
the busses , so you will be getting only the effects when sending from a
track.

No, I?m not sure that I know just what to do concerning the sends. Can you
help me out with this matter? Thanks

Jim, do you have your effects inserted onto sends 1 and 2 respectively? It
seems like you may have added some unnecessary buses here.

Hello all, I?ve created a project using producer 6.2 with 4 tracks of audio
and 5 tracks of midi. I went in to the bus pane and setup the following,

 A. I have the master bus which is routed to the out of my Delta 10/10,

B. Subgroup1?s, out as well as Subgroup2?sout are routed to vocal master

C. Subgroup1?s delay and verb outs, are routed to effects send1

D. Subgroup2?s delay and verb out are routed to effect send1

E. Vocal master and effects send1 out?s are routed to master.

In the track pane, I have tracks 1 and 2?s outs routed to subgroup1. I have
track 3?s out routed to subgroup2. Whenever I patch an effect (verb or
delay) in the bus pane in to the effects bin of the corresponding bus, (verb
in the verb of subgroup1?s verb bus), I can?t hear the verb applied. I solo
the verb bus but everything plays as if nothing?s soloed. I hope I?m
making some since attempting to explain the problem. Any ideas on the
matter would be appreciated. Thanks
