[ddots-l] Re: FW 1884: Master slider not working

Thanks for the advice, Robert.  Last night the Master slider worked on earlier 
recorded projects, so I don't know why it's decided not to work on these 
certain songs.  What I did was that I used the same "project" to record my band 
and just kept saving each song, and then just recorded over what we had just 
done.  Evidently there is something I did on the first song's recording.  Funny 
you mentioned the Input and Output of the FW 1884, because of about 1 out of 10 
times in turning the DAW on, the FW 1884 sliders (all of them) do not 
respond--I then have to go to the Control Surface menu and select the FW 
Control for the Input and Output.  I know that improper shut down and the 
improper turning off the FW 1884 has caused this.  I will check these settings 
tonight to make sure they are still FW Control.  Does anybody else have 
problems with the FW Control setting getting changed somehow to either FW ports 
1 or even a USB keyboard as an Input or Output?
