Yes occationally i have have to redo my settings in options and that fixes it smile.

What I did was that I used the same "project" to record my band and just kept saving each song, and then just recorded over what we had just done. Funny you mentioned the Input and Output of the FW 1884, because of about 1 out of 10 times in turning the DAW on, the FW 1884 sliders (all of them) do not respond--I then have to go to the Control Surface menu and select the FW Control for the Input and Output. I know that improper shut down and the improper turning off the FW 1884 has caused this. I will check these settings tonight to make sure they are still FW Control.
