[ddots-l] HSC and CT Problem

HI folks.
Is there something else I need to do in order to get CakeTalking
and HSC playing nicely?
I have HSC and CT installed, and all the Sonar 6 and beyond sets
installed in the right place. I've updated the keymap as
instructed in the CakeTalking Tutorial.
However, when I go into an effect like say the PX64 Percussion
Strip and press HSC MODS+F1, I hear "No Hotspots Defined".
I'm not sure if this is related or not, but sometimes when I go
into sonar, my CakeTalking User Preferences have disappeared, or at
least reverted bak to defaults.
Any tips gratefully received! I'd like to not have to
uninstall/reinstall CT and HSC, but I will if need be.
