Hey thanks a lot for that, that's great. I guess I'm trying to do both. I've been using SFZ to play the instruments, but was just trying to figure out how I might get around to messing with sampled phrases. I didn't really think to mess around with what I might be able to do within Sound Forge. Whenever I hear something I'd like to sample, I always have ideas in my head of what I'd like to have it sound like in a beat, like up an octave, etc, but just have a difficult time figuring out what tools to use to get it to sound that way.
