Thanks Floyd. What's the status of the control panel, I know at one point and
time Motu's control panel was usable, but how is it now? Still usable, or have
they modified things to the point that screen reader interaction isn't possible?
Motu does have some nice units, I remember that 24IO was popular among some of
my customers some years ago. So was there 828 box.

Well I'm a full blown studio here, So I went to my safe zone with the MOTU 24AI
and 24 AO. Those are replacing my long standing (still
standing) 24 I/O.
I need 24 in and at least 8 out.
It's a bit strange syncing them up. It's done via the MOTU specific web site
for that.
And it's important that I tell you I don't want or use any of the on board
effects and all that. It's not at all my workflow.
So after setup, I almost never go into the cue mix and control panel for them.
Basically it's set up and walk away in my case.
I chose not to go with Antelope Audio after much research. Their support has
just a terrible reputation.

Which Motu unit did you get? What is your experience, mainly with
accessibility of the hardware and software (control panel/app)?

I think most of the chatter you're hearing is about older systems and
interfaces. I would assume you'll be getting Windows 10 and an
appropriately newer version of a screen reader.
I wouldn't worry to much about interfaces. A whole lot of them out
there and most are very good.
I personally have used MOTU for many years without any issues and have
a brand new version with my new system etc.
No problems whatsoever. And it sounds tremendous.
