Hi Mike.
For the bluesy slightly broken up stuff, I still try to get that
from the tube amp itself.
My favorite distortion pedal though is definitely a Brian Wampler
Pinnacle II. It sounds like a cliche to say this, but it really is
Van Halen's early sound in a box, or at least about 80% of
it. Into a good amp it sounds amazing!
