Thanks for good info on these pedals and will definitely check them out. Obviously it all comes down to taste and what kind of guitar amp you are going through but generally speaking, when using a good amp I dont want or need anything to color the sound. The tube screamer has been good in the past for giving a little more boost without any extreme coloring. If you have a solid state amp or lousy sounding tube amp you might really need something to change the tone if you don't like the sound of your amp but for me, I don't really want to change the tone of my Nomad or any other tube amps I have to any great degree; just a little more umph.
