Yeah! I just returned my Pinnacle Deluxe, the boost button made a loud clunk, but, its really a metal pedal, don't you think?

If you're after a lo break-up pedal, try some of the LovePedal stuff, it really is classy, especially, the Amp 11 & the Kalamazoo!

If you've got any old Boss pedals hanging 'round, like a Boss SD-1, check out a guy called Monte Allums, his mods are very lo priced, but sound incredible!

I could site you another 30 pedals, but, to be honest, I'm already boring myself, & this is one of my fave subjects...grin!

Hi Mike.

For the bluesy slightly broken up stuff, I still try to get that from the tube amp itself. My favorite distortion pedal though is definitely a Brian Wampler Pinnacle II. It sounds like a cliche to say this, but it really is Van Halen's early sound in a box, or at least about 80% of it. Into a good amp it sounds amazing!
